1. How do I make a purchase?

Shopping on the DARMAKI E-Shop store is easy. Simply browse the various categories until you’ve found exactly what you’re looking for, then select the particular size, colour, and material you desire. Click “Add to cart” to reserve the item, and continue shopping. Once you’re ready to check out, click “My Cart” on the upper right hand corner to review and edit your items. If you’ve made any changes, such as to colour, size, materials or quantity, click “Update” to reflect these changes, then “Check Out” to complete your order.

2. Do I need to set up a DARMAKI account to place an order?

You can make a purchase at the DARMAKI E-Shop without signing up for an account. However, rest assured we keep all your personal details safely stored, and never share with third-party companies.

3. What if I forget my password?

To re-set your password, you can easily submit to receive a new one, which will arrive momentarily via email.

4. Is my personal information safe?

Absolutely. All of the information you enter when making a purchase at the DARMAKI E-Shop is kept private and confidential, and never sold to third-party companies. For a full rundown of our privacy policy, please enquire at Contact Us.

5. What payment methods are accepted at the DARMAKI E-Shop, and how safe is it?

Payments can be made through most of the major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard and American Express. We also accept payments through PayPal, as well as bank transfers.

Please be advised that, upon submitting an order you agree to allow DARMAKI to authorise the payment via whichever method of payment you choose upon submission of your order, and that you also authorise to pay the sum in full to DARMAKI if your order is accepted. Your payment will be debited and cleared from your account at the time of your order. If, however, your order is cancelled or you withdraw your order before it has been accepted, we will refund your payment to your card or method of payment as soon as possible.

When you place an order, you are also confirming that the method of payment that is being used (credit card, debit card, PayPal, bank transfer) is yours, or that you have specific and explicit authorisation by the owner of the method of payment to use it. All credit or debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to DARMAKI, we have the right to reject the order, and we will notify you by email. 

Your security is important to us, and thus we handle all credit, debit, PayPal and bank transfer payments with the highest amount of security. All credit or debit card transactions on this site are processed using a secure online payment gateway that encrypts your card details in a secure host environment. The DARMAKI E-Shop uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to ensure your purchase is safe, secure and easy to complete.

6. How does shipping work?

We offer free shipping and returns, so you can order risk-free. We also aim to despatch orders within 24 hours of receipt. Customary delivery time for packages is 2-5 working days.

Note that we customarily require a signature upon delivery. This is to ensure both security of your package and quality of the contents.

7. Can I ship to multiple addresses?

We are only able to deliver to one address per order. However, since shipping and returns are free, you may send to multiple addresses by placing a separate order for each address.

8. Is my DARMAKI E-Shop package insured?

Yes. All shipped items are insured against theft and accidental damage while in transit from our facilities to your shipping address. Once items have safely arrived to your address, they are no longer covered by insurance. If your package arrives damaged, you have two options: either refuse the delivery or make a note when signing for it that you are agreeing to accept a damaged parcel.

9. Can my order be changed, amended or cancelled?

You can change, amend or cancel your order from the time your order has been placed to the point at which it is despatched. To change, amend or cancel your order, simply contact customercare@DARMAKI.com as soon as possible with the required changes, and our customer care team will attend to your request to the best of their ability.

10. How can I track my order?

As soon as your order is despatched, you are given a tracking number, which you can use to track the delivery progress of your package.

11. How are shipping duties and taxes paid?

Orders placed on the DARMAKI E-Shop are subject to customer UK VAT. All other orders delivered outside of the UK will be subject to that country’s import duties.

By purchasing from the DARMAKI E-Shop, you are accepting responsibility and liability to pay all duties, import taxes and costs as may be determined by the country or region that the order is shipped to and accept that the products may be retained by the delivery company or any customs or any other government authority until full payment of such import taxes and costs by you. We are not liable to pay any import taxes and costs and we shall be entitled to charge you any additional costs incurred by DARMAKI to you and you shall pay us for such additional charge for any import taxes and costs we pay.

Please be aware that if you choose to not pay such import taxes and costs, we shall be entitled to charge you any additional costs incurred by DARMAKI to you and you shall pay such amount in full to us, in addition to the price and delivery charges, any import taxes and costs, which we may pay. We recommend that you contact your local customs authority to determine the import taxes and costs and a landed cost price prior to submitting your order. 

12. How do I return an item to the DARMAKI E-Shop?

You have 14 days from the receipt of your order to decide if you’d like to keep the items you’ve purchased. We recommend trying on your new purchases on a soft carpet to avoid inflicting damage on the new soles. Returns are simple and free. Just contact customercare@darmaki.com with your order number and our customer care team will attend to your return.

If you are in Europe or the order is being sent to a European address, as an alternative to the DARMAKI E-Shop return policy, an order may be cancelled under the United Kingdom Consumer Contract (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (“CRs”).

13. If I return my order, will I be refunded the full value?

The refund on your returned order will be issued to the original method of payment (credit card, debit card, PayPal or bank transfer) used to place the order, and in the full amount paid. If you have paid import taxes or extra costs for the import of DARMAKI products into your country, these are not refundable, but you may be able to recover the costs through your local customs bureau. The only exception to this is if you cancel under the terms of the United Kingdom Consumer Contract Regulations (see above).

14. What if my order is damaged or faulty?

Quality control is extremely important to us, however if the DARMAKI items you receive are faulty, you have the right to ask for a repair, exchange, reduction in the price or a full or partial refund, in accordance with United Kingdom Sale of Goods Act 1979. If you believe your purchase to be faulty or damaged, contact us at customercare@darmaki.com with your order number and images depicting the fault or damage, and we will be happy to help you.

Note: products are considered "faulty" if they do not conform to the implied terms under the United Kingdom Sale of Goods Act 1979, which require that the products sold on the DARMAKI E-Shop must correspond to their description and be of satisfactory quality.

Additionally, if your purchased products become faulty within 6 months of receiving them, the law treats them as having been faulty when you received them, however items that are damaged as a result of normal wear and tear are not considered to be faulty. If you request a refund, we may be entitled to reduce the refund to take into account any use the product may have been subject to since they were delivered to you. If you would like to exchange a faulty product instead of requesting a refund, we are only required to replace it with the same product in the same size, and any exchange is subject to availability. If you request a repair, we will do so only where possible and not disproportionate. If you ask for a repair or replacement and we do not provide one in a reasonable time or have reason for not providing one (other than due to your fault), then you will be entitled to exercise your right to ask for a reduction in price or refund. 

Note: As we recommend trying on your new DARMAKI items on a soft carpet to avoid damaging the soles, any returned items bearing obvious marks of wear and tear will not be refunded, and will be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.

15. How do I purchase a DARMAKI E-Shop gift voucher?

We currently offer gift vouchers to be redeemed in the DARMAKI E-Shop in UK Currency (GBP). To purchase a gift voucher, simply contact customercare@darmaki.com
