Care Guide

CARE GUIDE

The shoes and accessories in each DARMAKI collection are all made of the finest Italian leather and suede, each with a unique, proprietary treatment that gives them a distinctive edge. The high quality of your DARMAKI product means it is designed to last for generations, so here are a few instructions on how to properly care for your items.

CALFSKIN

Traditional tanning and dyeing methods are finished off with a polish to keep the leather supple and the colour fresh. The occasional fine crease or irregular texture is completely normal, and customary to this resilient type of leather. To maintain the integrity and lustre, wipe gently with a damp cloth to keep clean, and keep away from extreme heat.

SUEDE

Our traditional tanning and dyeing methods ensure a long, resilient life for this uniquely-textured hide. To keep your suede item clean and looking fresh, we recommend using only a suitably-textured suede cleaning brush.

NAPPA

Traditional tanning and dyeing methods are finished off with a polish to keep the leather supple and the colour fresh. The occasional fine crease or irregular texture is completely normal, and customary to this resilient type of leather. To maintain the integrity and lustre, wipe gently with a damp cloth to keep clean, and keep away from extreme heat and prolonged moisture.

ORIGAMI HEEL

Our signature origami heel comes in a variety of finishes, from metal alloys to rubberised matte. Regardless of the finish, extreme care should be taken to avoid sharp or abrasive surfaces, and in the event of having been soiled, clean only with a soft, damp cloth.
